Cleared 35 km of Northwest Transmission Line , built all road access within section, all falling /forwarding /processing /loading/ hauling timber, trail access, access mat installation, air curtain burning, open burning and waste wood management, handled merch timber for entire Nisga’a section of 115km, site support
Timber Baron mobilized four air curtain burners to efficiently manage construction debris and vegetation waste on site, reducing hauling requirements, minimizing environmental impacts, and maintaining project schedules while meeting environmental standards.
Timber Baron operated log sort yards across Northwest BC and was the first company in the region to export raw logs in sea containers to Asian markets. With over 10,000 containers exported, TBC provided complete sorting, processing, debarking, and transportation services from sort yard to port.
During the Pacific Trails Pipeline project, Timber Baron provided right-of-way forestry services including feller bunching, skidding, processing, log loading, and hauling. Timber Baron also deployed a long-reach excavator for creek cleaning, rip rap placement, erosion control, and wood waste management, supporting safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant construction activities.
Timber Baron is currently in its second five-year contract with the Terrace Community Forest, providing full-phase logging, commercial thinning, and road construction services. TBC upgrades 5–10 kilometres of forest service roads annually and manages harvesting, processing, and hauling operations, supporting sustainable forest management while contributing to local community initiatives funded through TCF revenues.
Timber Baron has successfully completed more than 100 Timber Sales throughout Northwest BC, from Haida Gwaii to Stewart. TBC manages all phases of work in-house, including road construction, harvesting, processing, hauling, log sorting, and marketing, maximizing efficiency and value while maintaining high safety and environmental standards.
Timber Baron previously owned and operated TFL A16884, managing an annual allowable cut of 289,000 m³. TBC performed all engineering, silviculture, road construction, harvesting, processing, and hauling activities in-house, supported by a 200-person camp that enabled efficient operations in remote locations.
Timber Baron provided full project management and cost control for the clearing and development of over 35 hectares of soft soil terrain. Services included access road construction, access mat installation, water management systems, waste wood management, open burning, and site support, delivering the project safely, efficiently, and in compliance with environmental requirements.
