Timber Baron Contracting (2013) Ltd. previously owned and operated Tree Farm Licence (TFL) A16884, with an annual allowable cut of 289,000 cubic metres per year. Under this tenure, TBC was fully responsible for the planning, execution, and management of all forestry operations across the licence area.
All engineering and silviculture activities were performed in-house, including road and harvest planning, layout, and compliance, allowing for efficient decision-making, cost control, and adherence to regulatory and environmental requirements.
TBC performed and managed all road construction and maintenance associated with the licence, including mainline and in-block roads, ensuring safe, reliable access to harvesting areas and long-term infrastructure performance.
Logging operations were fully self-performed and managed by TBC, encompassing all phases of harvesting, processing, and hauling. This vertically integrated approach ensured consistent production, strong safety performance, and high operational standards.
To support sustained operations across the licence, Timber Baron owned and operated a 200-person camp, providing accommodations, catering, and logistical support for personnel working within the TFL area. This capability enabled efficient workforce deployment and uninterrupted operations in remote locations.
